ROXX is a Coffeehouse and Gaming Center located in Cincinnati, OH.
It is located half a mile east of Reed Hartman Highway, on the corner of Deerfield and Cornell in Blue Ash. The venue will offer the best designer coffee and social interactive gaming in the tristate area.
"It's all about being the best," says Andrew Eigel, the event planner for ROXX. "Everything we do is geared for maximum impact, from the taste and presentation of our coffee to the biggest HDTV available to the latest in triple-A games. We want people to walk in and feel a sense of awe."
ROXX Management is concerned about the serious dearth of mother-friendly entertainment venues for teens and young adults. Young people are filling local malls and movie theaters because safe places to socialize have disappeared over the past decade. Traditional entertainment venues such as community centers and after school activities do not appeal to the electronic youth culture of today.
A new trend has arisen to address the needs of young people and their parents. Social Interactive Gaming is as old as the first pair of dice and deck of cards. The way we play together has evolved in the age of the PC and the Internet. Computer Gaming Cafés have swept across Asia and Europe as people gather together in a social atmosphere to challenge each other in safe and fun surroundings.
"There is a hunger in the youth of today to connect in a personal way with each other while playing computer games," says Christopher Spencer, a managing partner at ROXX. "I have seen social interactive gaming grow from small groups gathering in living rooms to the thousands who bring their computers from across the world to play at QuakeCon(tm)."
The social atmosphere is further enhanced by the ROXX Coffee House, which efficiently serves its customers in an atmosphere of community and comfort. With the freshest beans roasted locally by the experts at LaTerza and served by our highly trained baristas, ROXX's designer coffee rises above the fast-food commodity brew found at McDonalds and Starbucks.
Jinny Eigel, managing member of ROXX Coffee House says, "I had always wanted to open a coffee shop that lacks the calculated pretentiousness of Starbucks. I want to serve true designer coffee that tastes as good as it smells."
